18 Political parties to sponsor 1.57m polling unit agents

Ahead of the February/March general elections, Nigeria’s 18 political parties have registered about 1,575,689 million people to represent their interests in various constituencies across the country, Vanguard has learnt.

Nigeria has 176,846 polling stations, but only the All Progressives Congress APC and the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, along with the Labor Party LP, have representatives in more than 95% of the polling stations.
