2023 Elections: Yakubu To Nigerians, Stop Blaming Politicians, Use Your Voter Card

Nigerians have been urged to stop putting blame on the politicians but rather use their voter cards to elect candidates of their choice for the development of the country.

Ambassador Ndanusa Yakubu, the National Secretary, of the Inter-Tribal Traditional Leaders Association of Nigeria made this call during an interactive session with some journalists in Katsina on Tuesday.

Yakubu noted that the time has passed when the electorates would continue to lament about the situation in the country, they must be ready to make the desired change in governance.

“The electorates should build confidence in the electioneering processes by participating actively in who governs them in their state and the country at large”.

“With our voter card in our hands, we can make the right choice of candidates that would make the difference to enable us to reap the dividend of democracy”, he said.

Yakubu who doubles as the chief of Nupes in Katsina state also called on the electorates to be wary of unpatriotic politicians who would only want to purchase their voter’s card for their own good.

“Use your votes wisely by electing the candidates of your choice to develop and make our country great for the betterment of all”, he concluded.
