9th Edition Of Africa Future Leadership Public Service Entrepreneurship Awards Holds On 5th Oct

The 9th edition of the Africa Future Leadership Public Service and Entrepreneurship (AFLPS & E) Awards event is billed to hold this year.

The event slated for 5th October, 2024 will take place at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, by 5.00pm.

According to a statement singed and made available to the media by the convener of AFLPS & E, Mark Idiahi, the event is poised to celebrate and honour well distinguished men and women of substance, who have contributed to the development of various fields of industry and entrepreneurship in Africa and Nigeria.

Idiahi in the statement further explained that the annual event which comes under the theme, “Africans for Africa: Resetting Africa’s Economy  for Excellence” would draw participants from the academia, corporate organisations; the intelligentsia, diplomatic corps, entertainment circle among others.

However, the statement reads in parts: “The annual Conference and Awards event, which, it must be reiterated, exceptionally, assumes a rarified finesse and  top-notch luster,  in the world of excellent presentation, recognition and honour of people of great fulfillment in various fields of leadership, industry, commerce and economic undertaking cum sectors, in Africa and Nigeria recognises distinctive performance or achievement  via the award nomination categories, which came to a close on the 2nd of September, 2024.

“The awards  including ; Africa Sports Icon of the Year Award; Corporate Excellence Icon of the Year; Life-Time Achievement Award; Most Outstanding Leader and Philanthropist of the Year; Distinguished African ;Ambassador of the Year; Outstanding HR Company of the Year; Impactful NGO of the Year.

“Others are Real Estate Brand of the Year; Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year; Humanitarian Award of the Year; Business; Leader of the Year; Consumer Brand of the Year; Innovative Educator of the Year among others.

“Eligibility criteria requires that nominees should have made significant contributions and impact in their specific fields of leadership entrepreneurship and economic environments on the African continent.

“Therefore, we implore that no one should miss this special event for any reason as we collaborate to celebrate the very finest of people with distinguished leadership and entrepreneurial drive directed towards Africa’s leadership, economic and industrial emancipation, guaranteeing in Africa, the very best of living standards, of people, as measured against the parameters of other countries, throughout the world”.
