2024 US Election: Mission Provides Voting Guide For Citizens In Nigeria

The United States Mission in Nigeria has released a comprehensive guide to empower American citizens residing in Nigeria to cast their votes in the upcoming November 5, 2024, elections.

“Make Your Voice Heard: A 3-Step Voting Process for US Citizens in Nigeria”

To ensure their votes count, US citizens overseas must follow these crucial steps:

Firstly, request your ballot by visiting the Federal Voting Assistance Program website where you’ll find detailed instructions and resources for overseas voters.

Upon receiving your ballot, carefully fill it out according to the provided instructions.

Finally, return your completed ballot by dropping it off in a postage-paid envelope at the US Embassy in Abuja or the US Consulate General in Lagos, or mail it directly.

The US Mission urges citizens to complete these steps promptly to avoid delays that could impact their participation in the election.

The 2024 US general elections will feature highly contested presidential, congressional, and state races. The presidential contest pits former President Donald Trump against Kamala Harris.

Early voting has commenced in Virginia, Minnesota, and South Dakota, with Democratic candidate Kamala Harris focusing on abortion rights during a recent campaign event.

Don’t miss your chance to shape America’s future. Follow these steps and make your voice heard.
