President Tinubu Set For Two Weeks Annual Leave In UK

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on a two-week working vacation to the United Kingdom, marking his 27th foreign trip since assuming office. The president’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the trip, stating it is part of Tinubu’s yearly leave.

Tinubu aims to use this break to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms and return refreshed to tackle the nation’s challenges. This visit comes just two weeks after his meeting with King Charles III in London.

During his 16 months in office, President Tinubu has traveled extensively, visiting key destinations worldwide, including:
Equatorial Guinea, London, Bissau, Nairobi, Porto Novo, Pretoria, Accra, New Delhi, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, New York, Riyadh, Berlin, Addis Ababa, Dakar, and Doha.

The president’s UK trip has sparked interest, given the country’s significance in global affairs. Nigerians will be watching closely for outcomes from this working vacation.
