Rear Admiral Orederu Fosters Partnership, Visits NSE President

In a landmark move, Rear Admiral Abolaji Orederu, the visionary leader at the helm of the Naval Dockyard, paid a courtesy visit to Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala, the trailblazing President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), in Lagos. This strategic meeting marked the beginning of a transformative collaboration between the Nigerian Navy and NSE.

The Admiral Superintendent and Managing Director/CEO of the Naval Dockyard emphasized the importance of synergy between military and civilian engineering experts in driving national progress. “By joining forces, we can harness our collective expertise to propel innovation, technical excellence, and capacity building within the maritime sector,” Rear Admiral Orederu noted.

Engr. Oguntala, the first female President of NSE, welcomed the partnership, saying, “This alliance will unlock new opportunities for knowledge sharing, research, and skill development, ultimately benefiting both our institutions and the nation.” She praised Rear Admiral Orederu’s proactive approach, saying, “His leadership and foresight will undoubtedly yield tangible results.”
