She advocated for a persistent sense of thankfulness towards family members, spanning generations from grandparents to children, including the wider circle of siblings, spouses, and friends.

Here’s her speech..
“On this day, I salute all families, the pillars of our society and the cornerstone of our nation.

“Our families are the support networks that provide love and care. They have been our steadfast source of solace and strength. The times we spend with our loved ones are precious, and it’s paramount that we savor these occasions, whether they are grand events or simple, everyday joys.

“Let us pause to show gratitude to our families, our grandparents, parents, spouses, children, and siblings. Our extended network of family and friends is also deserving of our appreciation. A simple phone call, a heartfelt note, or a meal shared together can have an enduring impact.

“Wishing everyone a Happy International Day of Families,” she expressed.
