KWASU Expels 175 Students For Examinations Malpractices, Fraud, Others

In a bid to maintain academic integrity and discipline, Kwara State University (KWASU) has expelled 175 students for various offences, including admission fraud, theft, fraud, examination malpractice, possession of firearms, assault, and involvement in unregistered associations.

The university’s management, in a statement issued by Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, Acting Director of University Relations, confirmed the expulsions, which were approved following recommendations from the Students’ Disciplinary Committee (SDC).

The move reinforces the institution’s zero-tolerance policy for indiscipline, emphasizing its commitment to producing graduates who excel in both learning and character.
