In a significant development, President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of Didi Esther Walson-Jack as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
This appointment, which takes effect from August 14, marks a new chapter in the leadership of the civil service.
According to a statement by Ajuri Ngelale, the Presidential Spokesperson, Walson-Jack’s appointment is a testament to President Tinubu’s commitment to excellence and innovative leadership in the civil service.
The President has tasked Walson-Jack to discharge her duties with “innovative flair, integrity, and stringent adherence to the extant rules and regulations of the Civil Service of the Federation.”
The outgoing Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, will complete her tenure on August 13, 2024.
