Justice Ajumogobia’s Daughter Found Dead In Lagos Apartment, Police Arrests Domestic Staff

In a mysterious occurrence, Chukwu Ofili-Ajumogobia, the vibrant daughter of esteemed Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, was discovered lifeless in her opulent apartment in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, on Wednesday, July 31.

The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended three domestic staff in connection with her tragic demise, sparking a meticulous investigation into the sinister circumstances surrounding the untimely death of the young medical professional.

According to a family source who wished to remain anonymous, “It appears that the newly employed domestic staff may have been implicated in this heinous crime, attempting to stage a scene to mislead investigators.”

The source further revealed that telltale signs of an attempted cleanup of bloodstains were evident within the house and compound, hinting at a more complex narrative.

“The presence of bloodstains and signs of an attempted cleanup suggest a calculated effort to conceal the truth. Notably, the newly employed staff had been working in the household for less than a month, and Chukwu was alone with them at the time of the incident.”

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that three domestic staff have been taken into custody and handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department, which has assumed control of the investigation.

“Three domestic staff have been arrested and are currently being interrogated by the State Criminal Investigation Department, following the discovery of Aribemchukwu’s lifeless body at approximately 6:45 am at the entrance of her parents’ residence on Bembe Street in Parkview Estate, Lagos.”

As the police meticulously unravel the tangled threads of this case, the family and friends of Chukwu Ofili-Ajumogobia are left to navigate the dark reality of her untimely passing.

This tragic incident serves as a poignant reminder of the imperative need for vigilance and robust security measures, particularly within the sanctity of our homes.
