Meru Gov. Mwangaza Suffers Impeachment For Third Time In Two Years

In a dramatic turn of events, Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza has been impeached for the third time in just two years, marking a tumultuous period in the county’s political landscape.

The ouster motion, which garnered significant support from Members of the County Assembly (MCAs), resulted in 49 votes in favor of impeachment, while 17 MCAs opposed the move.

Notably, three members were absent from the crucial vote.
