Deputy President Mashatile Emerges Acting President Of S/A

In a seamless transfer of authority, Deputy President Paul Mashatile has been formally sworn in as the acting President of South Africa by esteemed Constitutional Court Justice Nonkosi Zoliswa Mhlantla.

This temporary assumption of the presidency comes as President Cyril Ramaphosa embarks on a working visit to Angola, leaving Mashatile to steer the ship of state in his absence.

As Acting President, Mashatile will wield significant executive power, ensuring the continued smooth operation of government machinery, making key decisions, and signing crucial bills into law.
