Plateau Govt. Eases 24- Hour Curfew In Jos

In a welcome move, the Plateau State Government has further relaxed the 24-hour curfew imposed on Jos, the state capital, allowing residents to move freely from 10 am to 6 pm daily.

This new directive, effective from today, Saturday, August 10, 2024, comes after an assessment of improved security and commendable conduct from residents.

Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s decision to ease the curfew restrictions aims to strike a balance between maintaining public order and enabling citizens to pursue their economic activities.

The governor expressed gratitude to the people of Plateau State for their cooperation and patriotism during these challenging times.

The latest adjustment is a testament to the government’s commitment to restoring normalcy and ensuring the safety of lives and property.

As the state continues to work towards building a united and prosperous community, residents are urged to maintain their cooperation with security agencies and contribute to the ongoing efforts to ensure peace and stability.
