Gov. Mutfwang Of Plateau Lifts Curfew In Jos

In a welcome move, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has announced the lifting of the curfew previously imposed on Jos, the state capital.

This decision comes after a thorough review with security agencies and an assessment of the improved security situation in the area.

The curfew was initially imposed in response to attempts by hoodlums to hijack the nationwide protest in the state, but the peaceful conduct of residents and the effective enforcement of the curfew by security personnel have contributed to the decision to lift the restrictions.

He also commended the security personnel for their dedication and effective enforcement of the curfew.

With the lifting of the curfew, residents of Jos can now resume their economic and lawful activities, while maintaining public order.

The Governor has called for continued collaboration between residents and security agencies to ensure the safety of lives and property across the state.

This development marks a significant step towards restoring normalcy in Plateau State, and the Governor’s decision is seen as a positive response to the improved security situation in the area.
