President Tinubu Embarks On Official Trip To France

President Tinubu has left the country for France which is the fourth official visit of Abuja to a European Union member.

The President’s Airbus A330 business jet departed Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja by 04:08 pm today.

While the purpose and duration of visit were not detailed, the Presidency said President Tinubu would return to Nigeria after a short work stay in France.

The action came when a Chinese company, Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Limited which released one of the three aircraft seized in France after it struck an agreement that he would use for his trip to inspect facilities at Tinubu free trade zone and other projects across Ipokia local government area (LGA).

It will be President Tinubu’s 23rd foreign trip since assuming office in this past almost year and a half of administration.

He has attended various programs including in Equatorial Guinea, London; Bissau, Nairobi and Porto Norvo Africa, He had been to a number of countries which include Paris-France, Pretoria South africa, Accra Gahana, Saudi Arabia, Mecca, New Delhi India, Abu Dhabi, Dubai United Arab Emirates, Germany, Berlin, Addis Ababa, Tanzania, Algeria, Doha qatar, Japan, etc. In one ocassion, he went to U.S alone attending the UN conference where after, he availed an opportunity not to return back home by the agreement.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale made the announcement yesterday that President Tinubu will meet with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron during his visit.
