In a heartwarming and extraordinary turn of events, a 56-year-old Islamic cleric, Yahya Nafiu, and his wife, Latoyossi Alake, have welcomed 11 precious babies into their family. This remarkable birth has brought immense joy, but also significant challenges, as the family struggles to provide for their new additions.
Latoyossi, a native of Ajasse-Cotonou, gave birth to the 11 babies in a traditional home in Porto-Novo, Benin Republic, over a period of two months, July 7 and August 14, 2024.
Despite the initial loss of two babies, the family is now caring for nine healthy children, eight boys and three girls.
As the family celebrates this miracle, they are also facing financial constraints. The cost of caring for the babies, including food, clothing, and medical expenses, is overwhelming.
Yahya, determined to provide for his family, is seeking help from the government, organizations, and individuals to ensure the well-being of his children.
