Nigeria’s Paralympic Team Makes Wave In Paris 2024 Games

Team Nigeria has made a fair start at the Paralympics Games Paris 2024, with notable performances in table tennis and badminton.

Despite a mixed bag of results, the team’s determination and spirit have shone through.

In table tennis, the duo of Kayode Alabi and Faith Obazuaye faced a tough loss to Great Britain’s Bly Twomey and Joshua Stacey.

However, Chigozie Nnanna and Mariam Bolaji brought cheer to the Nigerian camp with their wins in badminton.

Nnanna defeated Germany’s Marcel Adam in the men’s singles SL4, while Bolaji outclassed India’s Mandeep Kaur in the women’s singles SL3. Although the team suffered a second loss in table tennis, their overall performance shows promise for the rest of the games.

With 4,463 athletes from around the world competing in 549 events across 22 sports, the Paralympics Games Paris 2024 is an exciting showcase of talent and resilience.

Team Nigeria’s journey is just beginning, and fans are eagerly watching their progress.
