African Future Leadership Conference, Awards To Hold In Oct

The Second Chance Care Foundation and African Future Leadership Magazine are set to host the 9th edition of the African Future Leadership Public Service and Entrepreneurship Conference and Awards on October 5th in Lagos.

The conference, themed “Africans for Africa: Resetting Africa’s economy for prosperity,” aims to celebrate exceptional leaders in Africa and honor their outstanding achievements and contributions.

The event will feature guest speakers, including CEO of Africa Private Sector Summit, Lucy Surhyel Newman, and Associate Professor and Acting Director of Research and Studies at the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs, among others.

The conference seeks to retell Africa’s story, challenge the narrative of Africa as a dark continent, and promote transformational leadership in the continent.

It is expected to attract leaders, organizations, and innovators from across Africa.

The African Future Leadership Conference and Awards have recorded success stories in the past eight years, providing networking opportunities, business partnerships, and a platform for emerging leaders to make a positive impact in Africa.

By recognizing and celebrating the outstanding achievements of African leaders and innovators, the African Future Leadership Conference and Awards aim to inspire a new generation of visionaries, empowering them to take the reins and shape the continent’s future.

As the event’s convener, Mark Idiahi, aptly puts it, “Africa is currently at a crossroads, and the cry for transformational leadership is loud and clear.

Through this conference, we hope to be able to retell Africa’s story and promote a new narrative of hope, resilience, and prosperity.”
