Anambra Commissioner, Wife Kidnapped En Route To Gov’s Daughter’s Wedding

In a shocking and brazen incident, Patrick Aghamba, the Commissioner for Youths Development in Anambra State, and his wife were kidnapped today while traveling to Abuja.

The couple was on their way to attend the wedding reception of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s daughter, Adaora, scheduled for the next day.

Tragically, the commissioner’s aide, ABK Offiah, lost his life in the process, as the kidnappers struck along their route.

The incident has sent shockwaves across the state, with authorities scrambling to confirm the details and launch a rescue operation.

Although official confirmation from the authorities is still pending, sources close to the matter have revealed that the kidnapping occurred while the commissioner and his wife were en route to Abuja.

The Anambra State police spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, was unreachable for comments, fueling speculation and concern about the safety of the commissioner and his wife.

As the search for the kidnapped couple intensifies, the people of Anambra State remain on edge, awaiting news of their safe return.
