Atuku’s Son, Shehu Joins In Lagos Protest

In a surprising turn of events, Shehu Atiku Abubakar, son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, joined the #EndBadGovernance protest in Lagos today.

Shehu was spotted with other prominent personalities at Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota, Lagos State, participating in the demonstration against the economic reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government.

The protest, which began on August 1, is a response to the rising cost of living, hunger, high levels of unemployment, and limited access to quality education.

Shehu’s participation has sparked a mix of reactions from Nigerians, with some commending his courage and others questioning his motives.

On social media, Nigerians tackled Shehu for not protesting against Tinubu’s government in his home state, Adamawa.

Some users praised his involvement, stating, “In reality, the present state of affairs in the country affects all, including the ‘haves’ in the society. A new Nigeria is possible.”

Others criticized him, saying, “He should go to Adamawa state to protest for me to take him serious.”

Shehu’s actions have added a new layer to the ongoing protests, highlighting the need for collective action to address the country’s challenges.

As the protests continue, it remains to be seen how Shehu’s involvement will impact the movement.
