Borno Gov. Declares 24- Hour Curfew Due To Bomb Blast

In the wake of a devastating bomb attack that claimed the lives of 16 individuals and left several others critically injured, Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum has taken swift action by imposing an immediate 24-hour curfew across all 27 local government areas in the state.

The tragic incident, which occurred at Kawori Market in the Konduga area, was carried out by a suspected Boko Haram suicide bomber, prompting the governor to consult with top security officials before implementing the measure.

According to ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, the state Police public relations officer, the curfew aims to restore law and order and ensure public safety.
