On Friday, President Muhammadu Buhari, joined other African leaders for the African Union (AU) summit on industrialisation and economic diversification.
This year’s summit, held in Niger Republic, was part of activities to mark the Africa industrialisation week.

Present at the event were Mohamed Bazoum, President of Niger Republic; Paul Kagame, Rwanda President, among other African leaders. This followed on the heels of the just concluded Conference of Parties, COP27, deliberations, in Egypt, where issues bordering on climate change and green house effects in Africa, and around the world, leading to poor agricultural harvests and food shortages, flooding challenges and others were closely considered.
