Charly Boy Vows To Divorce Wife Of 47 Years If Kamala Harris Loses Election

In a shocking display of devotion to the American political landscape, Nigerian singer and activist Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has publicly declared his unwavering support for US Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential bid.

Taking his enthusiasm to the next level, Charly Boy has dramatically vowed to divorce his wife of 47 years if Harris fails to emerge victorious in the upcoming election.

Charly Boy’s pronouncement comes on the heels of President Joe Biden’s recent endorsement of Harris as the new Democratic Party candidate, following his own withdrawal from the race.

The Nigerian entertainer, known for his unapologetic views, took to his social media handle to express his ardent desire to see America elect its first Black female president, after the historic tenure of Barack Obama, the first Black male president.

“I’m so obsessed with the idea of Kamala Harris becoming the first Black female president of the United States,” Charly Boy exclaimed, referring to Harris as his “crush.” To underscore the depth of his commitment, he declared, “If she doesn’t win, I will divorce my wife of 47 years!”

While Harris has secured a significant portion of the delegates needed for the Democratic Presidential nomination, her official nomination as the party’s candidate is still pending.

Charly Boy’s bold pledge has undoubtedly generated buzz, highlighting the intensity of his support for Harris’s candidacy.
