Chiefs set to offload out-of-favour defender

In the second of two major announcements this month, Chiefs have confirmed the signing of a pre-contract agreement to acquire left-back Thatayaone Ditlhokwe from SuperSport United.

It comes as a report that Amakhosi are apparently ready to let go of defender Austin Dube, who has been out of favor under Arthur Zwane’s management.

“The club has instructed his camp to find him a team. With the signing of Thatayaone Ditlhokwe from SuperSport United, everyone can see now that Dube will not play, a source told Soccer Laduma.

Edition 1308 of the publication states that a decision has been emphatically made on Dube, who apparently could even see his contract terminated if he can’t find a new club.
