#EndBadGovernance Committee Demands IG Dismissal Over Protesters Killings

In a bold and unyielding stance, the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria Organising Committee has issued a direct demand for the dismissal of Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, in response to the senseless killing of peaceful protesters.

This call to action comes amidst a three-day mourning period declared by the committee, based at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park in Ojota, Lagos, to honor the lives lost nationwide during the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests.

The committee’s demand for accountability and justice is a testament to the growing outrage and frustration among Nigerians, who are refusing to remain silent in the face of state-sanctioned violence.

By calling for the Inspector General’s dismissal, the committee is sending a clear message that the Nigerian people will no longer tolerate the brutal suppression of their rights and freedoms.

As the protests continue, the world watches with bated breath, awaiting the government’s response to these demands and the future of Nigeria’s democratic journey.
