The #EndBadGovernance protests in Nigeria have entered their second day, with a noticeable shift in momentum.
Unlike the first day, which saw a massive turnout of protesters at Ikeja Underbridge, the number of demonstrators has dwindled, allowing business activities to resume in many parts of the state.
In Port Harcourt, however, the protesters remain resolute, gathering at Pleasure Park to continue their agitation against economic hardship.
The protesters’ determination is palpable, despite the decrease in numbers, as they seek to bring attention to their plight.

On Airport Road, also known as Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Expressway, the scene is bustling, with more cars and commercial taxis plying the route than yesterday.
The increased activity is a testament to the fact that life is slowly returning to normal, even as the protests continue.
At Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park, a brief skirmish erupted between residents opposed to the protest and demonstrators attempting to set up public address systems.
The clash was quickly brought under control, but it highlights the tensions simmering beneath the surface.
As the protests enter their second day, the security agencies remain on high alert, with a visible police presence at the protest venues.
The curfews declared in several states, including Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, and parts of Nasarawa and Yobe, have forced some protesters to stay at home, but others remain undeterred.
The court order restricting the protests to Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park and Peace Park in Ketu has been largely ignored, as protesters continue to take to the streets.
With the protests scheduled to last for 10 days, it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold.
One thing is certain, however – the Nigerian people will not be silenced.
