Engr. Agubata Lauds NSE On Her New Appointment

The newly elected vice president, South-East Zone of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Engr. (Dr.) Felicia Agubata has lauded the society for chosen her.

In a statement signed and made available to the media by Engr. Agubata, she described her appointment as a powerful testament to the NSE shared vision for the South-South region.

The newly elected vice president of NSE South-South region in the statement also extended her appreciation to the president of NSE for her leadership style, which according to her has inspired the members.

While assuring the society of her commitment to collaborating effectively to further the objectives of the association and to drive innovation, excellence, and impact in engineering

across Nigeria, she said: “together, we will build on the solid foundation laid by our predecessors and work tirelessly to move the NSE forward.

“As a diversity, equality, and inclusion ambassador, STEM advocate, and dream gap advocate, my goal is to ensure that every engineer, regardless of their background or circumstances, feels valued and empowered within our profession”.

Also she promised to champion initiatives that would inspire young minds, particularly girls and women, to pursue engineering, while advocating for inclusive opportunities for all.

In addition, she said: “To my supporters, mentors, colleagues, and the engineering community at large, l thank you for your belief in my vision and your encouragement throughout this journey.

“Your passion and dedication to our profession fuel my determination to work hard and deliver impactful results.’’

However, Agubata in the release dedicated her new appointment as the vice president as NSE South-South region to every engineer who dreams of a brighter future for the society.

In her words: “Together, we will uphold the values of integrity, professionalism, and service that define the Nigerian Society of Engineers.

“As I take on this responsibility, I remain committed to fostering collaboration, promoting sustainable practices, and driving impactful initiatives that will strengthen our profession and our nation”.

She called for more unity among the members so as to create a legacy that future generations of engineers would be proud to build upon.
