Fouani GM, 3 Lebanese Nationals Kidnapped In Lagos

Lagos, Nigeria, has witnessed a serious kidnapping event as the Managing Director of Fouani Company, along with three Lebanese nationals, fell victim to armed abduction while commuting via boat. The incident took place near the Falomo Bridge during their boat journey from Apapa to Victoria Island on Friday, June 14, 2024.

An insider associated with one of the kidnapped individuals revealed that the kidnappers have since made contact, placing a ransom demand. “The kidnappers have demanded a ransom of $1.5 million for the safe release of the Managing Director of Fouani Company and the three Lebanese nationals,” shared the source.

Confirming the reports, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated, “We have been notified of the unfortunate incident and are actively investigating. I cannot provide further details at this time.”
