According to her, the event was necessary so as to put smiles on the faces of the needy in the society during Christmas celebration.

In her words: “we organise it every Christmas to pray, minister the word of God to the women and elders and also distribute food items, drugs after medical checks.’’

She regretted that most women find it difficult to create time to take care of themselves, adding “I have realised that most women do not have the time to take proper care of themselves particularly their health, but they can take care of everyone in the home, it ought not to be so because as a woman you need to be healthy to take care of others.’’

On the partnership, she said explained that The Indispensible Woman Outreach Foundation takes care of the physical need of the participants while God’s Extension Ministries International takes care of their spiritual life.

Speaking also at the event, Tinu Akinlawon stressed the need for women to be prayerful and to be obedient to God’s word.

Akinlawon who is also a minister of the gospel urged women to work harder in life so as to assist their husbands in taking care of their family needs.

High points of the event include; distribution of food items; routine drugs to the participants and medical checks on hypertension, diabetes among other illnesses.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke in an interview commended the organisers of the event for remembering them in such capacity.
