Kenyans from all walks of life have trooped to social media to mourn the former Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha.

Magoha breathed his last on the evening of Tuesday, January 24, at Nairobi Hospital following a cardiac arrest.

The tough-talking former Education CS put pen to paper at the learning institution as a professor of surgery in the School of Medicine.

Maseno University’s Director of Public Relations Dr. Owen McOnyango had said that having the well-educated man on their team was a commendable development.

“He is an asset to us due to his vast experience and strong professional background. Our School of Medicine is relatively new and to get an experienced and strong personality like Magoha is definitely a plus for us,” Dr. McOnyango said.

According to him, Magoha’s experience was to be of high value to both graduate and post-graduate students.
