House Of Reps Congratulates Kekere-Ekun On Appointment As Acting CJN

The House of Representatives has congratulated Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun on her swearing-in as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), praising her distinguished legal career and commitment to judicial excellence.

In a statement, the House spokesperson, Rotimi Akin, highlighted Justice Kekere-Ekun’s remarkable trajectory, from her early days as a Senior Magistrate to her appointment as the fifth female justice of the Supreme Court in 2013.

The House pledged its readiness to work with the judiciary under her leadership to deepen Nigeria’s democracy, urging her to uphold the principles of fairness and justice.

The House’s congratulatory message reflects a strong show of support for the new Acting CJN, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the legislative and judicial arms of government.
