Huawei Triple-Folding Phone

In a significant technological milestone, Chinese tech giant Huawei has launched the world’s first triple-folding phone, the Mate XT.

This innovative device boasts a sleek design and cutting-edge features, solidifying Huawei’s position as a leader in the foldable phone industry.

The Mate XT was unveiled at Huawei’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China, with over three million people already expressing interest in purchasing the device. The phone will officially go on sale on September 20, with prices starting at 19,999 yuan ($2,800).

Huawei executive Richard Yu highlighted the company’s dedication to solving mass production and product reliability issues, ensuring a seamless user experience. This launch comes on the heels of Apple’s iPhone 16 announcement, built for generative artificial intelligence.

As the largest seller of foldable phones in China, Huawei’s triple-folding phone is expected to further boost its technological leadership.

Analysts predict that this device will fortify Huawei’s position in the foldable phone sector, although its impact on Apple’s market share may be limited due to its price and initial stockpile.

The Mate XT’s release marks a significant comeback for Huawei, which has overcome US sanctions and made a surprise return to the smartphone market with domestically made chips.

This innovative device is poised to revolutionize the tech industry and cement Huawei’s status as a pioneer in foldable phone technology.
