Iyabo Ojo Condemns Police Use Of Teargas On Protesters

Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo has added her voice to the growing chorus of condemnation against the use of teargas on peaceful protesters during the ongoing End Bad Governance protests across the country.

Today, Iyabo Ojo shared a video on her Instagram page showing protesters being teargassed, with a caption that expressed her outrage and concern.

“Why are they throwing teargas?

@nigeriapoliceforce? #peacefulprotest is their right,” she wrote.

The video, which was reposted from Galaxy TV, appeared to show teargas being deployed on unarmed protesters, with someone in the background claiming that shots were also being fired.

Iyabo Ojo’s post drew a flurry of reactions from her followers, with many condemning the use of force on peaceful protesters.
