Jennifer Douglas To Inspire Women In WinTrade At United Kingdom

Transnational law and finance expert, Dr. Jennifer Douglas, has been nominated for the Wintrade Global Award under the Woman Icon of the Year order and would speak at the Wintrade Global Women in Business Summit at the London House of Lords, London, United Kingdom.

Douglas, who made the list of 100 utmost estimable Africans weeks agone , is an transnational counsel with over 25 times of experience working in finance, law, education and thenon-profit sector in the United Kingdom, Nigeria and the UAE, and also the author of the Gede Foundation.

The award form, which would celebrate the 25th Anniversary corner of the Annual Summit of the Women In Trade event for 2023, will take place in three locales of the London Stock Exchange, Lloyd’s of London and the UK House of Lords, on 13th, 14th and 15th of March, independently.

Douglas headed the bankruptcy and restructuring practice where she advised fleetly growing private and public companies and supporting their directors, directors, investors and counsels. She undertakes a fair quantum of nonsupervisory and compliance work, restructuring of debt portfolios and receivership.

She now advises and facilitates crucial business and government connections and strategic openings for companies looking to invest in Africa.

Douglas is a former Assistant Professor at the American University, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, where she tutored Public International Law and African Politics. At AU, she supervised thesis scholars and was an counsel on the University’s United Nations Program.

Douglas is a member of the International Bar Association and Nigeria Bar Association( NBA). She participates in the creation of new communities and charities, as the author and member of the Board of Trustees of Gede Foundation, anon-profit foundation, with UN Observer status, whose charge is concentrated on bringing undeserved and stigmatised health burdens ‘ out of the murk ’ through advocacy and quality exploration on internal health.

She has also worked as a adviser electoral bystander for the UN Observer Mission in South Africa(UNOMSA).
