Kwara Gov. Rewards N1. Million To Adesina, Best Student In 2023 WAEC

In a heartwarming display of support for academic achievement, Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq has presented a cash award of one million naira to Master Shalom Adesina, the best student in the 2023 May/June West African Examination Council (WAEC) exams.

Adesina, a student of Rehoboth College, Pipeline, Ilorin, achieved distinctions in all subjects, earning him the prestigious award.

The governor’s gesture to him yesterday aims to encourage and support Adesina’s academic pursuits, recognizing his outstanding performance as a source of pride for the state.

During the presentation at the Ministry’s conference hall in Ilorin, yesterday, AbdulRazaq emphasized the importance of motivating exceptional students like Adesina, who have demonstrated academic excellence.

The permanent secretary of the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Olanrewaju Rebecca Bake, urged Adesina to capitalize on the governor’s support and strive for greater heights.

This commendable initiative by the Kwara State government sets a shining example for promoting academic excellence and rewarding outstanding achievements.

As Adesina continues his educational journey, this recognition will undoubtedly inspire him to reach new heights.
