Nigerian Sets New Guinness World Record For Longest Reading Marathon

Samson Ajao, a 27-year-old Nigerian, has achieved an incredible feat by setting a new Guinness World Record for the longest marathon reading aloud. He read for an astonishing 215 hours, surpassing the previous record of 124 hours set by Rysbai Isakov of Kyrgyzstan in 2022.

Ajao’s remarkable achievement was recognized by Guinness World Records, who described it as one of the longest marathon record attempts in their history.

He read over 100 books covering various subjects, including finance, sales, management, leadership, politics, health, and mental wellness.

Ajao’s motivation for attempting the record was to promote literacy development and inspire a reading culture in Nigeria. His remarkable feat has not only made him a record holder but also a role model for many Nigerians.
