The tips, outlined below, cover crucial aspects of the service year, from travel arrangements to documentation and camp procedures;

  • Safety first: Avoid traveling to the Orientation Camps at night; break your journey when necessary.
  • Timely arrival: Report on your scheduled reporting date to avoid any complications.
  • Accuracy matters: Apply for spelling errors and name rearrangements on your dashboard to ensure correct documentation.
  • Final checks: After documentation in the Camp, you cannot change your Date of Birth, Date of Graduation, Course of Study, and Passport Photograph. Double-check your details before submission.
  • Discrepancies: If there are any discrepancies in your course of study or Date of Graduation on your Statement of Result and your Call-up Letter, contact your Institution to resolve the issue before reporting to the Camp.

By following these simple yet vital tips, prospective corps members can ensure a seamless and successful service year.

The NYSC’s commitment to the safety and well-being of its members is evident in these guidelines, setting the tone for a positive and transformative experience.
