Patience Ozokwor Exposes Alarming Truth Behind Industry’s Frequent Deaths

Veteran actress Patience Ozokwor, fondly known as Mama G, has made a startling revelation about the Nollywood industry.

In a recent interview in Lagos, she attributed the frequent deaths among her fellow actors to carelessness and negligence.

Mama G, who was deeply affected by the passing of comic actor John Okafor (Mr. Ibu), highlighted the importance of prioritizing health.

“When you’re doing something you enjoy, you often neglect your health. It’s crucial to take care of our bodies, as our work can take a toll on us.”

She emphasized the need for regular medical check-ups and encouraged her colleagues to eliminate harmful habits that jeopardize their health.

“Some people are careless and prefer to visit chemists or pharmacies instead of hospitals when they’re sick. It’s no longer safe with me.”

Mama G’s emotional breakdown at Mr. Ibu’s burial was a poignant moment, as she realized the finality of his passing.

“I broke down in tears when I called his name and he didn’t respond. It hit me that he’s truly gone forever.”

Her words serve as a wake-up call to the Nollywood industry, urging actors to prioritize their health and well-being. By speaking out, Mama G hopes to create a safer and healthier environment for her colleagues.
