President Biden Plans To Withdraw From 2024 Election Race

In a stunning turn of events, President Joe Biden is reportedly considering withdrawing from the 2024 presidential race, sending shockwaves through political circles.

According to sources close to journalist and Newsmax commentator Mark Halperin, Biden may announce his decision as early as this weekend.

This news has sparked widespread speculation, with key Democratic sources suggesting that Biden’s withdrawal could lead to an open convention next month.

In a surprising twist, Halperin also revealed that Biden is unlikely to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris, further fueling the uncertainty surrounding the Democratic nomination.
While Biden and his campaign have yet to respond to these reports, the speculation continues to gain momentum.

Former President Barack Obama has reportedly expressed concerns about Biden’s candidacy in private conversations with Democrats, urging him to “seriously consider the viability of his candidacy.”

Obama’s comments, as reported by the Washington Post, have added to the growing chorus of voices questioning Biden’s path to victory.

Nancy Pelosi, the former House Speaker, has also cautioned Biden about the potential repercussions of staying in the race.

In a call with Biden, Pelosi warned that his decision to stay on could not only hand Trump the presidency but also destroy the Democrats’ chances of winning back control of the House of Representatives.

US House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries has expressed similar views, while Democratic US Representative Adam Schiff of California has publicly called for Biden to drop out of the race.

With 20 congressional Democrats now urging Biden to withdraw, the pressure is mounting on the President to reconsider his candidacy.

As Biden’s health comes under scrutiny, with the President currently experiencing mild COVID-19 symptoms, his decision to isolate in Delaware has further fueled speculation about his political future.

With the situation unfolding rapidly, political observers are closely monitoring Biden’s next steps and the potential implications for the 2024 election.

Will Biden heed the calls to withdraw, or will he press on in his pursuit of the presidency? Only time will tell.
