Protesters Storm Rivers Govt. House, Reject Fubara’s Pure Water Money

In a bold display of defiance, protesters in Rivers State ignored Asari Dokubo’s warning and converged on the Government House, expressing their discontent with Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s leadership.

The protesters, who are demanding an end to bad governance, were offered “pure water money” by the governor, which they rejected outright.

The rejection of the governor’s offer was seen as a backlash against his perceived attempt to bribe them into silence.

The protesters’ bravery in the face of adversity has sent a strong message that they will not be swayed by token gestures.
