Super Eagles To Face Familiar Foes In AFCON 2025 Qualifiers

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn in Group D of the AFCON 2025 qualifiers, alongside familiar rivals Benin Republic, Libya, and Rwanda.

The draw was conducted in Johannesburg on Thursday, July 4, 2024, and placed Nigeria in Pot 1 alongside other top-ranked African teams.

The Super Eagles will be looking to settle the score with Benin Republic, whom they have previously faced 17 times, winning 13 games, losing two, and drawing twice.

The AFCON 2025 qualifiers will take place across six match days in September, October, and November 2024, with the top two teams in each group qualifying for the competition.
