The Estonian team of Tartu 2024 jet in ahead of Tour du Rwanda

The Estonian cycling team, Tartu 2024, has become the first team to arrive in Rwanda ahead of the highly anticipated Rwanda 2023 tour that will be held on February 19-26.

The team arrived Friday, February 10, as they hope to adapt to the weather and also have pre-competition exercise in order to be in shape and become familiar with the terrain.

The team will have a seven-day training camp at the Africa Rising Cycling Centre in Musanze where they will do some mountain climbing workout ahead of the event.

The Tartu 24 team is made up of a five-man roster that includes Kiskonen Siim, 26, who is ranked 770 in the world by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), Finish Kinaapi Markus, Krasts Alekss, a 21-year-old Latvian mountain bike rider, budding Estonian rider Kurits Joonas aged 20 and Pajur Markus, who previously featured for for UCI ProTeam Arkéa–Samsic.
