2023 elections: Shun voter apathy, vote Obi to secure and rebuild Nigeria – Dr. Okwenna

The Head of Intervention Team for Labour Party Presidential Council, Chief Ifedi Okwenna, Friday, urged Nigerians to shun voter apathy by coming out on Election Day to massively elect the party Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.

According to Okwenna, Obi’s administration will rebuild Nigeria where justice, fairness, peace and security of lives and properties will be guaranteed.

The former commissioner and governorship aspirant in Anambra State 2021 poll disclosed this in Awka while addressing the State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), adding that Obi is talented, intelligent, with best experience and team that will change all the key sectors of the country.

He further maintained that Obi’s administration would also reposition the education sector in such a way that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will never dream of embarking on industrial action.

“For all the Presidential candidates in this election, Obi is the most qualified. He is on the race because he has the character, capacity and competent to run. He is loved by all, very young and energetic. Obi is only person among the four major contestants that can deliver on his mandate and take us to a new Nigeria of our dreams. You know how he turned the Anambra State throughout his tenure as governor

“New Nigeria is possible. Obi’s administration will be more responsive, create opportunities for all professionals, businesses and industries to thrive. Public officers will be responsible and responsive under his regime. All parts of Nigeria will be carried along because he does not discriminate. Nigeria will become more secured under his administration. There will be no ASUU strike,” he stated.

He, therefore, charged youths and other eligible voters yet to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to pick them at designated areas, as well as get ready to vote for Obi and candidates of other offices.
