Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), announced the launch of the strike during a press conference held at Labour House in Abuja. According to Ajaero, this strike, marking a significant standoff in the ongoing wage negotiations, is set to begin at the stroke of midnight on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
