The meeting is scheduled to take place today at the NLC headquarters, Labour House, Abuja.

A report from the Tripartite Committee, which includes the NLC, TUC, local governments, states, and the federal government, was submitted, but no decision was made due to the involvement of multiple stakeholders. The memo was deferred to allow President Bola Tinubu to conduct broader consultations before presenting it to the National Assembly.

The outcome of the labour unions’ decision will be communicated after their leadership meets with the President, following his invitation.
