103 Nigerian Deportees From Turkiye Arrive Abuja Air Port.

A while ago, 103 Nigerians arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, following their deportation from the Republic of Türkiye.

The deportees landed at the airport’s pilgrims’ wing at 6:45 p.m. on a Southwind Airlines flight, registration number TC-GRB.

Upon arrival, they were received by several government agencies, including the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Department of State Services (DSS) operatives, and military personnel.

The specific reasons for their deportation from Türkiye remain unclear.

The deportees expressed their frustration, alleging mistreatment during their time in Türkiye. They claimed to have been detained by Turkish authorities for over 11 months before being deported.

They have called on the Nigerian government to advocate on their behalf and help them recover their lost valuables.
