JAMB Announces Commencement Of Change Of Institution, Course For 2024 DE Applicants

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of the change of institution and course choice for 2024 Direct Entry (DE) applicants, providing an opportunity for candidates to reassess their academic aspirations.

In a statement released via its official X handle (formerly Twitter), JAMB declared, “This is to inform 2024 DE applicants who wish to apply for a change of institution/course that the service is now available.”

To facilitate a seamless process, JAMB has outlined the following steps:

  • Visit the JAMB portal and log in with your credentials (email and password).
  • Select “Correction of Data” from the list of services on the left.
  • Choose “Course/Institution” from the menu.
  • Generate a Transaction ID and proceed to pay the required fee (N3,500 or N2,500).
  • After payment, effect the desired changes to your course or institution.

Note that candidates can make multiple changes to their course or institution, but each alteration will require a separate payment.

Additionally, changes to personal data, such as names, date of birth, gender, and state/LGA of origin, can also be made through this process.
