WNBA, NBA Others Unite To Host Global Women Basketball

The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), National Basketball Association (NBA), and International Basketball Federation (FIBA) are joining forces to host the second Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Global girls camp, a prestigious development program for top international prospects. The camp will take place in Phoenix, Arizona, from July 19 to 21, as part of the AT&T WNBA All-Star 2024.

Nearly 40 talented young players from 24 countries will participate in the camp, which will feature coaching from former WNBA and FIBA players and coaches.

The campers will engage in various activities, including skills development, anthropometric and athletic testing, and life skills seminars. The event will culminate in a ceremony awarding individual honors and recognizing outstanding performances.

The BWB program has a rich history of nurturing young talent, with 127 former campers advancing to the NBA or WNBA. This initiative aims to empower the next generation of female basketball stars, promoting skill development, sportsmanship, and community outreach.
