President Tinubu Embarks On 3-Day Visit To Equatorial Guinea

In a significant diplomatic move, President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Wednesday for a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, at the invitation of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

This visit marks a crucial milestone in strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea, with a focus on key areas such as oil and gas, security, and economic cooperation.

According to a statement released by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, President Tinubu will meet with President Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa in Malabo, where they will engage in discussions on vital bilateral issues and sign several agreements to bolster cooperation between the two nations.

The President will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other cabinet members who will play a crucial role in the signing of agreements and exploration of opportunities to enhance bilateral relations.

This visit underscores President Tinubu’s commitment to fostering strong diplomatic ties with African nations and exploring new avenues for economic growth and cooperation.

As Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea prepare to strengthen their partnership, this historic visit is poised to yield significant benefits for both nations.
