In a significant development, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, has announced the appointment of Prof. Samuel Olowo as the new acting Vice-Chancellor.
This decision was made by the newly inaugurated Governing Council, marking a new chapter in the institution’s leadership.
The outgoing acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sonnie Adagbonyin, announced his decision to step aside, stating, “On Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, the Governing Council of Ambrose Alli University announced a transition plan towards the appointment of a substantive Vice-Chancellor for the university.”

As Prof. Olowo, the Provost of the College of Medicine, takes over as the acting Vice-Chancellor, the university community looks forward to his leadership and expertise in navigating the institution’s future.
